We are so lucky to have found this absolute gem of a care home that treats my partner’s father with enormous respect and always encourages him to join in with the activities. He has mild dementia and is not always keen to leave the safety of his room, but when he does do so, he is noted as the life and soul of the party. Beaufort House has a lovely communal dining area where residents are encouraged to sit with each other to share their meals. There are several rooms to relax in each with its own facilities such as TV or craft tables.
Ian M (Relative of Resident, 2023)
We are delighted with the care she receives from the dedicated team at the home. The environment is warm, caring, welcoming and cheerful due to the friendly and outgoing attitude of the staff who are conscientious, dedicated and focused on creating an enjoyable lifestyle. The emphasis is on ensuring that all residents receive the best of care and have fun on a daily basis, with emphasis on creating a sense of cohesion as part of the group and encouragement to participate in all aspects from dining together and living as part of an extended “family – whilst recognising freedom of choice and personal space.
Robert D (Son of Resident, 2022)
The staff were very kind and supportive when my mother was on end-of-life care. They were very professional and caring through what was a difficult time.
